This brand-new virtual reality experience from Bossa Studios reunites two of TF2’s most-loved characters, who were originally brought to Surgeon Simulator back in 2013. Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet the Medic, allows you to step into the shoes of Team Fortress 2’s, The Medic, where only you can save The Heavy as his life ebbs away before your very eyes. Now, you have the chance to get truly ‘hands-on’ and test your backstreet surgery skills in VR. What will you do? Which one will you reach for first? The bonesaw, or a sandvich…? You’re leaning over a strangely familiar patient in dire need of a brand new heart, alongside an operating table full of terrifying implements you’d hoped never to have to pick up for yourself. Once that's mastered you can enjoy your malpractice to your heart's content.Surgeon Simulator VR: Meet the Medic – be the Medic and operate on the Heavy in this free exclusive for HTC Vive! Depending on your constitution this may be the first game that invokes nausea through content rather than the VR itself! I find it to be a geniunely fun experience after you get past the frustration of learning to pick things up. The world scale is a bit off, but it's not meant to be realistic (if it were you'd probably throw up). To add something about the VR rather than the game. The ambulance missions are fun, you can throw the removed organs out the doors onto the road as you speed along I wonder if it'll die fast just jamming the bone saw right into his face instead of breaking open the skull and going for the brain. I managed to kill the first brain surgery victim within 34 seconds. It's so easy with this technique I actually surprised myself in the ambulance missions when all the objects fly into the air as you go over bumps, i caught the hammer I was looking for in mid air! I would've thought that was impossible in those first 20 minutes. I spent 20 minutes working out how to pick something up and then the next 2 hours getting through the various missions. Hit thumb and first finger buttons at the same time and you'll pick up everything in no time. Turn the hand on it's side and just pinch everything. If you are reading this and are in this predicament then all you need to do is use the thumb and first finger for everything. I kept trying to close all 5 fingers around things to pick them up. I got this game yesterday and spent the first 20 minutes raging at how impossible it is to pick things up.
